AutoCAD compatibility

AutoCAD® DWG and DXF compatibility is complete, BlueCAD supports DWG/DXF formats input and output from version 2.5 to recent version 2007 (2000 for output).
In this way you can share your project files with work groups which make use of other products.

Advanced Print support

A wide set of functionalities now allows the complete control of print and plot. User can choose the settings to achieve an optimal drawing print, and save such settings with the drawing itself.
BlueCAD also manages multiple sheets print, that is it can print drawings over pages having a size not supported by the printer. As an example, you can print over an A0 size despite you have a printer able to print only on A4 size, in this case the A0 drawing is printed on several A4 sheets.
Print preview lets you to see exactly how the drawing will be printed.

Programmable in Basic

BlueCAD makes available BlueCAD SCRIPT, the tool able to create macro commands in Basic language, to be used as additional commands. Basic used by BlueCAD is Microsoft® Visual Basic® compatible, moreover by means of BlueCAD SCRIPT Editor you can write, test and debug in an integrated environment which simplifies developing work.
Furthermore BlueCAD SCRIPT supports OLE Automation, so you can carry out a bridge between BlueCAD and all Windows main applications.
