BlueCAD 2.0 Plug-in

Plug-ins are applications expressly created for BlueCAD, which allow a customization able to satisfy your most sophisticated needs.

Their peculiarities are the following:

They are external applications to BlueCAD, DLL in particular (Dynamic Link Libraries), and can be made with the most suitable development tool, thus overcoming the intrinsic limitation of BlueCAD SCRIPT Basic language. Therefore we are virtually able to create whatever customization you can imagine for a two-dimensional CAD.
They can be integrated with any tool external to BlueCAD, such as databases or other.
They can directly have the access to the BlueCAD graphic kernel programming library with an high integration, definitely advanced as to that possible with Basic Script.
Plug-in functionalities are perfectly integrated with the existing ones, both as user interface and operativeness. After an easy installation procedure, plug-in commands will be available in BlueCAD menus and toolbars, close to the original ones, without any user’s operation. Because of the high integration with the program, you feel like using an original command. For example, we can customize echoes for positioning and modifying entities.
Besides the commands it adds, plug-in can intercept all main operations and all the original commands before and after their execution, and modify or integrate their operativeness.
Plug-in integration with BlueCAD is so efficient that permits reasonable programming times and resulting inexpensive developing costs, if relating to results that can be obtained.
All following BlueCAD upgrades will be compatible with the plug-in.
